This Privacy Policy describes how PingSense ("the App") handles information when you use the iOS application. I am committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about data practices.

1. Information Collection

I do not collect any personal information.

PingSense is designed with privacy in mind. The App:

Does NOT require user registration or login
Does NOT collect names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers
Does NOT track your location
Does NOT use analytics or tracking SDKs
Does NOT share any data with third parties

2. Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to any server:

Ping History: Session logs including target hosts, RTT (round-trip time), timestamps, and packet statistics
Favorite Hosts: Your saved list of frequently used ping targets
App Settings: Preferences such as haptic feedback, packet size, TTL, and other configuration options

This data remains on your device and can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its data.

3. Network Access

PingSense requires network access to perform its core function: sending ICMP ping requests to specified hosts. This is a standard network diagnostic operation.

Local Network: The App may request permission to access devices on your local network for LAN diagnostics
Internet: The App sends ping requests to user-specified IP addresses or domain names

No data about your network activity is collected, stored externally, or shared.

4. In-App Purchases

PingSense offers optional in-app purchases (Pro version) through Apple's App Store. All purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. I do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or purchase history beyond what is necessary to verify your Pro status within the App.

5. Siri & Shortcuts

PingSense integrates with Siri and the Shortcuts app for voice-activated ping commands. Voice processing is handled by Apple's systems. I do not receive, store, or process any voice recordings or Siri interaction data.

6. Children's Privacy

PingSense is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since I do not collect personal information from any users, this policy applies equally to all age groups.

7. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security settings (passcode, Face ID, etc.). I recommend keeping your iOS device updated to the latest version for optimal security.

8. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. I encourage you to review this policy periodically.

10. Your Rights
